I would like to give a presentation on my packaging concept (for merchandising, and promotional uses) to a large company...which department should I contact to arrange it?
Having stated that the organisation for which you have in mind is large, the best advice I can put-forward would be to simply telephone the firm and ask the question.



Theres a high probability that the Marketing department will be the division. Although packaging considerations are most often made in consultation with management and distribution departments, due to logistical considerations.

Should i end this business?

I opened up a business about a year or two ago, its a complementary therapy business and since ive opened it ive only had two customers, im so afraid to advertise and promote myself that i think that it can never work out, i dont know why people havent responded to some of the flyers i handed out or the advert i put in the local magazine twice, am i wasting my time or is it not working out because of my lack of effort and promotion? What do i do? Should i end this business or keep it going?

When I applied for unemployment in ca it said I was approved for a year. At the top of my check it says max benefits or something like that and it says 3,xxx my ? Is do I run out of unemployment when the 3,xxx has been paid to me or at the end of the 12 months I was approved for

I went in and filled out an application yesterday. How long does it usually take to hear back? Given that they actually call me back?
It would all depend on a few factors.



The first is whether the store you applied at is actually hiring or just taking applications. Most stores are always accepting apps just in case something comes open even if they are not hiring.



Assuming the store is actively hiring, the second factor is basically how desperate they are for help. If a store is short more than 2-3 employees, they will be calling for lots of interviews.
