Do all parcels have a tracking number when sent by Royal Mail?

I sent a parcel by Standard Parcel Post that has not been received. I am now being asked for a tracking number by Paypal as my buyer has escalated a claim against me for non-receipt. I do have the receipt for the parcel.

Hi, no you only get a tracking number for parcels sent recorded post!!

You do have a receipt so copy it and put it on paypal so they can see you HAVE sent it.

You are still kind of insured to get your money back for what the item is worth (but not what you paid for the postage) if you can proove it with a receipt etc.

Best thing to do is get a lost post form from the post office and send it off!

Not unless its recorded no.

Copy the reciept onto your pc and send it them to prove you have sent it. But dont hold your breath about winning the dispute, Paypal are a nightmare, and you can never get through to them on the phone!

Recorded, Registered (special insured) or parcel force 48. The former is low, middle (as much as most need) and the latter to around 150.
